Amaze Regional Roadshow hits Wodonga
Amaze, Victoria's peak body for people on the autism spectrum, is embarking on a roadshow to six regional centres throughout October and November providing local communities with much needed information on the services and support available to them.
The Autism communities of Geelong, Ballarat, Traralgon, Bairnsdale, Wodonga and Bendigo are invited to a free one-day information forum in their local area to hear from experts in the fields of Education, Employment and the NDIS, along with a speaker with a lived experience of autism.
The roadshows are funded by the State Government in response to the recent Parliamentary Inquiry into Autism that identified rural and regional Victorians having limited access to autism information and services. They are an immediate action whilst the five year Autism State Plan is in development.
Roadshow Dates: Geelong (9 Oct), Ballarat (10 Oct), Traralgon (23 Oct), Bairnsdale (24 Oct), Wodonga (13 Nov) and Bendigo (14 Nov).
