Be ahead of the game this November

Wodonga Library is encouraging residents to get their game face on in November as International Games Week lands.

International Games Week is an opportunity for libraries across the country to introduce fun activities and raise awareness of the social and educational benefits of playing games.

Every type of game is covered including card games, board games, online games and more.

Young People's Library Officer Jessica Zuber said Wodonga Library would have a week filled with activities for the community to enjoy.

"International Games Week is a week-long program in partnership with Australian Library and Information Association is an opportunity for public libraries to introduce fun activities and raise awareness of social and educational benefits of play," she said.

"Wodonga Library is pleased to offer a variety of events for International Games Week 2018 that covers a range of styles over all age groups.

"It's a chance to learn new games, meet new people and enjoy fun activities with family and friends."
