Biannual release ASW
Arts Space Wodonga has released its biannual showcasing to the community the exhibitions, workshops and programs available.
The biannual, which covers July to December, has Bärbel Ullrich's fabric earth prints Book of Creation on the cover. Ullrich's exhibition Archetypes and Land: Spiritual Belonging will be at Arts Space Wodonga from September 7 to October 13.
The biannual starts with Maree Clarke's Reimaging Culture:Contemporary Connections to Country, which closes tomorrow, before exploring Re-Mapped by Joanne Mott.
Mott's exhibition opens on Friday, July 27 with the official opening on Saturday, July 28 at 2pm.
There is also a schools workshop - Spot the path Mapping Project - available to students and their teachers on Wednesday, August 22.
The workshop will engage particpiants with their locality through art-based explorations of their region using mapping as a visual device to articulate their personal relationship to space and place.
The biannual also details Wanton, Wild and Unimagined by Alison McDonald (October 19 to November 24) and the Year 12 Arts Show (December 1 to January 26), which will feature the young creatives of tomorrow.
