Plenty of laughs ahead

The Sydney Comedy Festival is back for a sixth year and is set to hit Wodonga, with six comedians to bring laughs galore to The Cube Wodonga on Friday night.

The Sydney Comedy festival's funniest comedians have hit the road and will bring an all-star comedy showcase to a range of locations across the state and country.

The showcase will feature some of the festival’s hottest acts live on stage for an incredible two hours of hard-hitting laughter.

Boasting a line-up of veteran favourites, international stars, and some of the freshest emerging talents, this jam-packed night of pure entertainment will leave you sore from belly laughs.

Justin Hamilton is leading as the headline act for the showcase, bringing his hyperactive enthusiasm and charming wit to the table.

A revered writer in Australian television, as well as a familiar voice on the radio waves, Hamilton has long been respected as a formidable front man in Australian comedy.

Joining Hamilton on stage all the way from the US will be Mike Merrill who's known for his charm, insightfulness and also for being incredibly funny.

Unapologetic and ruthlessly clever, Chris Ryan is bringing her considerable energy and rapid fire punchlines all the way from Canberra.

David Williams, the unpredictable and energetic master of the Aussie comedy brings his unique style to the stage, followed by Billy D'Arcy, who's laid back, likeable and fast making a name for himself.

They will all be joined by up and comer Sam Taunton, who is one of the most exciting new voices in Australian comedy.

Tickets are available online at The Cube Wodonga website - thecubewodonga.com.au - or by calling (02) 6022 9311.
