Projection Dance Company returns with new show

Sinbad the Sailor, a traditional classical ballet with world renowned dancers, will thrill audiences this week.

Featuring International guest artist Marlon Dino as the main character, Sinbad, under the direction of Australian choreographer Tim Podesta, Projection Dance Company is thrilled to present the family friendly ballet on November 10 at The Cube Wodonga.

The two-act star-studded ballet is married with beautiful scenic music and framed with opulent sets and costumes.

Splashing colour and boisterous activity is mixed with the romance and magic of classical ballet as Sinbad ventures through magical lands encountering strange creatures and treasures: this ballet promises a to be a visual delight for all ballet and dance lovers.

Leading the stunning cast of dancers, Dino has danced in all of the major theatres around the world partnering leading ladies of international repute.

Melbourne-based freelance dancer Kristy Lee Denovan’s ability to captivate an audience was recognised as a young dancer in the world’s most prestigious ballet competition in the world, the Prix de Lausanne in Switzerland.

Zoe Cavedon needs no introduction… This former Wodonga dancer has been performing around the United States since receiving numerous awards at the Youth American Grand Prix in New York City.

This is a rare opportunity for Albury-Wodonga audiences to experience this calibre of dancers performing locally, you won’t want to miss this one and only performance of Sinbad.
