Ready for a great night of fun and singing

43rd Wodonga Carols by Candlelight

16 December 2018, Willow Park, Wodonga

Preparations are now well under way for this year’s Wodonga Carols by Candlelight.

Theconstruction of the large stage at Willow Park will be completed by midday Friday.

After many rehearsals the singers, choirs and band are ready for what will be a great carols event on Sunday, December 16.

Carols organiser, Lindsay Hanchett said there's plenty of space to put down the picnic rug, enjoy a picnic, or the APEX barbeque and other food providers, as you listen to the traditional Christmas program.

There’s face painting for the kids and candles for sale, with proceeds going to the Albury Wodonga Health’s Palliative Care Centre.

Wodonga Carols by Candlelight will again be held at Willow Park in Pearce Street.

Pre-carols entertainment commences at 6pm with the Border Show Business Academy, World Voices Choir and Albury Wodonga Pipes and Drums.

The main event will start at 7.30pm and be broadcast live on 1494 2AY.

The program will be hosted by 2AY’s Kevin Poulton and include a visit from Santa!

The event is presented by Wodonga Brass, and would not be possible without significant support from Wodonga Council, Riverside Estate, Wodonga Real Estate, Southern ValeHomes, Stewart Tracy and Mylon, Hume Bank, Bing Lee and many other sponsors.
