Stunts galore as 3 Speed Crunchbox reboots

Don’t miss this 2017 circus festival feature show!
3 Speed Crunch Box

Slapstick takes pride of place as the family-friendly 3 Speed Crunch Box Rebooted hits The Cube Wodonga these school holidays.

The world-touring, crazy stunt people from Dislocate are back with their hilarious story of a family of outlandish stunt people.

Families can expect impressive aerobatics, spectacular circus tricks and - you won’t believe it - even more stupid characters in this absurd, side-splitting slapstick comedy.

Children's director and performer Geoffry Dunstan said the show is filled with lots of jokes and there's a lot of slapstick and circus involved.

"We have lots of fun when we head on stage to perform," Dunstan said.

"It's good fun with plenty of laughs. There's jokes for the kids and jokes for the parents. So everyone should have a great time."

Dunstan, who will play Geoff D in the show, will perform alongside former Fruit Fly Circus graduate Luke Taylor (who will play Lucky Luke) and Sharon Gruenet, who will play Kate.

There is a little bit of a serious side to the show with the performers incorporating some carbon-neutral and sustainability jokes into the act.

The actors travel to their shows using carbon-neutral methods as much as they can. They will take the train from Melbourne to Wodonga and use their electric bike to travel from the station to their accommodation and The Cube Wodonga.

"The three of us fit on one bike and it's a great effective way to get around," Dunstan said.

"We have a Renault electric car and use that for shows closer to us but the distance to Wodonga is just a little bit too far.

"We get the kids to come up and look at the bike. We are also working on some videos that incorporate environmental tips that will be used in schools."
