The council's one-stop-shop for tools and equipment to tend to parks, reserves and bushland has undergone a makeover.

The trailer, complete with a pull out barbecue at the front and fitted out with a range of handtools, is used by a range of volunteer groups including the Wodonga Urban Landcare Network and Friends of Groups.

The trailer also features a fold down ramp to allow access to the inside.

Wodonga Council's Natural Resources Co-ordinator Andrew Griffiths said the new colour, an enviro green, and a great slogan - volunteers caring for our environment - had received great feedback from community members and volunteers.

"Before it was a baby blue colour with no branding and no one really knew what it was," he said.

Mr Griffiths said the trailer had been sprayed a more meaningful shade of green that relates to the environment and the message on the side summed it up well - volunteers caring for our environment.

"The trailer's been out and about and has already received positive feedback," he said.

"It has always been well utilised by volunteer groups for events like tree planting days."
